PE Foam Double Sided Tape is a closed-cell polyethylene foam carrier coated with acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive designed for mounting, sealing, vibration damping, and structural bonding in industrial assembly environments.
It is used where compressible bonding layers are required to compensate surface irregularities and reduce mechanical stress between substrates such as metal, plastic, and coated surfaces.

Key Performance Characteristics
The acrylic adhesive system provides stable peel adhesion performance on medium to high surface energy substrates such as aluminum, stainless steel, ABS, and coated panels. Adhesion builds progressively after application as the adhesive wets the microstructure of the contact surface.
The PE foam core provides compression recovery and stress distribution under dynamic load. This reduces localized stress concentration in vibration environments such as automotive interior assemblies and electronic housings.
Thermal stability is maintained between -20°C and 120°C under continuous exposure. Within this range, foam structure remains stable without collapse or adhesive flow migration under normal service conditions.
Bond integrity is maintained during aging cycles due to the balance between foam elasticity and acrylic adhesive cohesion strength.
Application Engineering
Automotive Interior Assembly: Used for trim panel bonding, decorative component fixation, and vibration damping under thermal cycling conditions, maintaining stable adhesion under long-term mechanical stress and temperature variation.
Electronics Manufacturing: Applied in module fixation, insulation layering, and shock absorption for PCB assemblies, display modules, and internal structural components requiring controlled thickness and stable dielectric performance.
Furniture Manufacturing: Used for decorative panel lamination, wood-to-metal bonding, and surface assembly applications where uneven substrate compensation is required without the use of mechanical fasteners.
Construction Installation: Applied in wall panel mounting, signage fixation, and architectural component bonding, ensuring load distribution stability and adhesion retention on rough or uneven surfaces.
Signage Systems: Used for nameplate mounting, display board assembly, and structural fixation where long-term adhesion stability and clean edge appearance are required in indoor and semi-outdoor environments.
Industrial Assembly: Applied in OEM production lines for general purpose mounting and dissimilar material bonding, supporting consistent adhesion performance under standardized processing conditions.
Processing, Procurement & RFQ
Naikos provides OEM/ODM production for PE foam tape, including slitting, die-cutting, and roll conversion under controlled manufacturing conditions. The foam maintains dimensional stability during processing without edge collapse in standard converting operations.
Thickness, width, and roll length can be customized according to OEM requirements. Adhesion consistency and compression recovery are controlled through batch production processes.
OEM customization includes thickness adjustment, width slitting, roll configuration, and die-cut parts based on drawings. Samples are available for validation before mass production.
